It started with a light in the wrong place.

Somewhere in my forties, my bladder started keeping its own schedule. Usually around 3 a.m.
Flipping the light on felt like getting interrogated. Leaving it off meant aiming at the memory of a toilet — and my floor has the stains to prove memory is unreliable.
So I bought one of those clip-on bowl lights. It worked, for about three weeks. Then the battery died, and when I went to swap it I discovered it had been quietly collecting… let's call it evidence. I threw it away with tongs.
The fix seemed obvious: the light shouldn't live in the toilet. It should live on the floor, where your feet already are, and only come on when you're standing there. A bath mat that glows. That's the LooLight.
